POPCORN POPCORN POPCORN

Scouting depends on the value of earning from POPCORN sales! PACK 91 is a VOLUNTEER group of leaders. Every dollar earned helps PACK 91 strive for future rewards and the survival of our PACK 91 for years to come. Encourage your Scout to help work towards our Pack 91 goals so ALL of our current and future Scouts can enjoy the benefits of Scouting.

Benefits to Your Scout and Family:

  • Teaches Scouts the value & process of setting and working toward goals

  • Gives Scouts a strong sense of accomplishment through recognition

  • Enhances communication, leadership skills and confidence in your Scout

  • Scouts can earn valuable rewards including gift cards and prizes

  • Pack 91 celebration for all Scouts meeting minimum goals

  • Scouts can earn their future dues, camping costs, and local Cub Scout summer camp

Every fall our Pack sells POPCORN!!

While we will have a few show-n-sells setup for the pack, remember that usually going door to door to your neighbors works best. Please remember to never go alone and be respectful of no soliciting signs. You can also, contact your HOA and set up a day to sell by your mailboxes or such.

Pack 91 asks for a minimum of 2 hours of Show & Sell time. Make a video in uniform and post to make some sales on Facebook or such. Orders can be taken on your Trails End web link so you are not restricted to just local family and friends. Possibilities are endless!

Your Popcorn Kernel (popcorn organizing volunteer) will have all the information you will need to BE YOUR BEST!!!!

WAYS TO SELL

Take Orders

  • The Scout with his Akela goes door to door with a Take Order Form. Take Order Forms will be provided during the Popcorn Kickoff and available online for download.

  • The customer writes his/her order on the Take Order Form and the Scout collects the money.

  • The Scout processes the order and delivers the Popcorn to the Customer in a few weeks.

Selling at Work

  • Adult takes an order form to their work.

  • Fellow co-workers write their order on the order form.

  • Adult delivers product and collects the money in a few weeks.

Selling Online

  • The Scout communicates his Order Key via email, phone, and so on, to potential or existing customers. The Customer can go online and purchase popcorn with a Credit Card at their own Trails End link that adult will need to set up https://trails-end.com/scouts

  • The Product is shipped directly from Trail’s End to the customer and the Scout and Unit receive credit for the Sale.

  • Have your UNIFORMED Scout make a sales video to show your friends and family to encourage sales.

Show and Sells

  • Every year your leaders obtain permission from local businesses to set up a sales table. Show and Sells have plenty of products on-hand for people to buy. Different Scouts work at the table in shifts. Always have adult supervision. Pack 91 asks that each Scout participate in a minimum of 2 hours in Show & Sell sales.

  • Check the calendar for show and sell times and other important details.

Scouts can also create their own Show and Sell

  • by reaching out to local businesses and getting permission to set up a table for sales. If you do, be sure to let us know. We're happy to help you help us by coordinating other Scout's participation and providing the popcorn!

  • Get permission to set up near mailboxes in your neighborhood. You would be surprised how many neighbors are willing to buy or donate.
